About the Journal

Allama: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Indonesia is a scientific journal that focuses on Islamic education issues in Indonesia, particularly at the school and university levels. This journal publishes research articles, literature reviews, and original thoughts relevant to Islamic Religious Education in Schools.

Allama: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Indonesia is published by the Association of Islamic Education in Indonesia (APPKI) twice yearly, in March and September. The journal accepts manuscripts from authors from various domestic and foreign disciplines. Submitted manuscripts must follow the journal's writing guidelines.

Objectives of Allama: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Indonesia

Allama: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Indonesia aims to: Encourage and facilitate research and studies on Islamic education in Indonesia. Disseminate the latest information and knowledge about Islamic education to academics, practitioners, and other stakeholders. Improve the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia. Strengthen the network and cooperation between Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia.

Editorial Team 

An editorial team of experts in Islamic education manages Allama Journal. The editorial team is responsible for selecting manuscripts, conducting reviews, and ensuring the quality of published articles.

Manuscript Review Process

Two independent reviewers will review manuscripts submitted to Allama Journal. Reviewers will assess the manuscript based on originality, methodology, and contribution to knowledge. Manuscripts that pass the review will be published in the journal.

Publication of Allama Journal

Allama Journal is published in print and online. The online version of the journal can be accessed for free on the official website of APPKI.

Call for Papers

Allama Journal invites academics, practitioners, and other stakeholders to write and submit their manuscripts. Submitted manuscripts must follow the journal's writing guidelines.

Submission Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to Allama Journal must follow the following guidelines:

  • Manuscripts must be original and have not been published elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English.
  • Manuscripts must be at most 7,000 words in length.
  • The journal's style guide must format manuscripts.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's online submission system.
