Abstract

This research looks at the issue of teacher strategies to increasing motivation in learning. Students understanding of learning and learning applications are determined by the teacher's role in providing optimal learning at school. The research method used by the literature is qualitative. Data was collected through literature study, while data analysis used descriptive-analytical methods. Apart from teachers having to have broad insight into the material being taught, teachers must also be able to understand how to captivate students attention so that learning changes occur that attract students' hearts according to their inner desires to achieve optimal learning. Teachers at school act as parents and friends who make students comfortable and enjoyable in the learning process. So teachers must have learning model for students is the integrated learning model in the form of varied learning methods, good teachers must understanding students' interests and intelligence and providing rewards and punishments, so that students may get the results they strive for. If the teacher becomes a comfortable place for students, it will be easy to impart knowledge to students because students are motivated to study diligently and succeed in learning.
